Televisa
Grupo Televisa, S.A.B., is the largest media company in the Spanish-speaking
world and a major participant in the international entertainment business. It has
interests in television production and broadcasting, production of pay television
networks, international distribution of television programming, direct-to-home
satellite services, publishing and publishing distribution, cable television, radio
production and broadcasting, professional sports and live entertainment, feature
film production and distribution, gaming, and the operation of a horizontal
internet portal. Grupo Televisa also owns an unconsolidated equity stake in La
Sexta, a free-to-air television venture in Spain

Banamex
One of the largest financial services groups in Mexico (along with rival Bancomer), Grupo Financiero Banamex offers personal and corporate banking through such services as deposit accounts, mortgages, consumer loans, mutual funds, and credit cards. Flagship subsidiary Banco Nacional de México (aka Banamex) operates more than 1,400 branches and some 5,500 ATMs. The company also offers securities brokerage (through its Accival subsidiary), insurance (Seguros Banamex), and pension services (Afore Banamex). In one of the largest-ever US-Mexico corporate mergers, Citigroup bought Banamex in 2001.
