With 5,000 years of art, the Lowe Art Museum reaches out to the community through diverse, multi-cultural exhibitions that stimulate programming and special events throughout the year. In addition to the permanent collections, the Lowe Art Museum hosts traveling and temporary exhibitions throughout the year. The Lowe achieved AAM accreditation in 1972, was reaccredited in 1987 and 2000, and in 1987, the Lowe was designated a “Major Cultural Institution” by the State of Florida. |
